Oops, no proper update for nearly a month!

Progress has felt slow, but going through my camera roll and looking at my last post, I realise that things are actually coming along fairly well

Having limited use of my router table now, I cut out a bunch of pieces in one go. This is Horsehoses and skirt bits (for the untrained eye ;) )

Here's some hinges stuck on to plastic, nothing too exciting, I've cut a couple out and inserted the flange bearings and just waiting to attach to doors and frame

For the hinge mounts, I just used 2 scraps of 3mm glued together and lined them up with the edge of the frame, butted up against the door. I then drew a line to match the curve of the frame and marked the spot to drill through the pre determined holes on the frame.

Had some luck the the flanges - CNC'd the holes and while I was there, even had the uprights cut out!

This is just the rough cut pieces, the finished pieces are all the same size.  I was lucky enough to have my shoulder support plates cut out on this machine too, so the travel of the screws on the legs are very smooth.

And skinned with same Ali looking tape...

Now, you may have seen in previous pictures how building R2 has ruined the state of my room.  It became too much to live with so I made myself a proper work space

Been thinking about the ankle and playing with this idea for a shape just to help the ankles sit in place

However I think I'd rather have a traditional shape and change the innards to lock in each position.
Here's the current overall build

Yes I'm one of those builders that will spend more time assembling and disassembling than building!
