Back!

After a few quiet months with no movement on the project, I'm back with a vengeance!

In the past few days..

I've ordered a Dremel 

I've ordered a specialist cutting knife

I've ordered my Styrene

All sheets are 1372mm x 660mm  (Will update when I can tell if this quantity is enough/too much)

Updated: Sizes I've ordered are:

6x Sheets of 3mm (not enough, will need to order at least one more)

2x Sheets of 2mm

4x Sheets of 1mm

Exciting stuff huh?!  Next on the to do list is get the plans printed, then build myself a router table.

Lots more research has happened over the last few weeks, and still not losing interest!  Have a busy few weeks ahead of me so will update as much possible and get as many pictures as possible.

Quick update on the Dome - I've decided, after many hours of sanding, that I will have to cut it after all.  It's a shame, but the shape just won't fit correctly otherwise.  Oh well, needs must and it won't be visible :)
