I had more frame issues.

After placing the door struts in place, and having a look at the overall frame so far I wasn't happy with it.  I test fit the skins and they fit ok...

I spent the next couple of days starting on the legs while trying to figure out what to do and turned to the forum for advise on it in this thread

RafkeP pointed out that the base plate isn't actually symmetrical, and there is actually a front and back to it.  Doh!

Read through the post to see how I progressed with it from there.  After having taken it apart and put it back together I'm very pleased with it. It's gone from being a frame "that will do", to a frame I'm feeling pretty proud of ;)

So.. Legs are now on hold while I finish the frame.

I'm actually further through the legs than this, I just need to do the curves on the shoulders and finish cutting the inside pieces.

But anyway, back to the frame!

I discovered this neat way to checking the edges of the uprights were pushed right up to the edges of the rings

And a nice way to weigh down the piece to let it glue (this is putting the frame back together - and yes, droid building has made my room very messy)

Hope to have the frame finished this weekend!  I need to drill a couple of holes and counter sink others and I should be there!
